A disciplined all-round bowling display restricted a strong Tigers’ batting line-up to 160, with Raj Rohilla (2-26) and Goodwin (2-23) finishing with the best figures.

Stuttering batting from The Alternatives’ top order placed the team in dire peril.

Tarun Rohilla (18) and Thompson (17) tried to recover the early damage but the side slipped to a disappointing 65-7.

 

The Stenner Express goes large – he can bat a bit too that lad! (nice hair by the way!)

 

All seemed lost, but Stenner rose to the challenge and swiped away with his trademark panache. Ably supported by Storey (23 not out), the game started to turn to favour the Alts, but Stenner (40) succumbed to wily spin bowling and his efforts proved to be in vain.

The game was lost but the Alts went down with a fight.
