Alts taste defeat for the first time this season, but Mel snares two prized wickets to boost his averages
Due to the absence of our resident Bard Boden at this match and due to me having writers blocks, the Suffolk Weekend match report will take the form of a photo journal.
It was another epic trip, massive thanks to Mark and Mariam as ever.
- Score – nice work on your 5o, best Alts batting of the weekend.
- Well done to Mel for getting the two prized wickets !! – the scorebook doesn’t lie and it will of course do no harm to your averages !!
- Again, their batting was a bit too strong for us, the usual suspects got their 100s – as we watched on.
The venue was brilliant – again (click on image to view at larger size)
Mel, Mel, Mel – shame on you !! Young Freddy will be scarred for life after your wicket taking “over celebrations” !!
No comment, as Mel takes his next wicket – age of batsman 11 years !!
There was no stopping him – more “over celebrations”
Mick was suitably unimpressed with Mel’s continuing shinanigans
This of course is what should have happened Mel !!
Saturday night was as large as ever
“I saw her today at the reception, glass of wine in her hand….”
All the usual tunes were given an airing
Thankyou to Mark and Mariam for our fantastic food (as ever)
What happens on tour, stays on tour !!
Alts buses on tour
Dicken ready to enter the fray (sort of)
Alts under the cosh (again)
An excellent 50 from Score on the Saturday/Sunday morning – nice
And the final word has to go to Mel – shame on you!!
